GAP PAYMENTS

MMI charges a nominal gap fee for some of our services. MMI provides the most superior services available and our patients can expect the best quality of imaging and reporting.

NON-MEDICARE ELGIBLE SCANS

If you do not have a Medicare Card or your scan is not Medicare eligible, you will be invoiced with a private fee, this will be quoted when you make an appointment.

Payment of privately billed services must be settled on the day of the scan or procedure being performed. We accept cash and all major credit cards, including, MasterCard, VISA and Diners. If you are in financial difficulty, please inform our practice manager to arrange a suitable payment plan.

OVERSEAS STUDENTS

If you are an overseas student, you will be invoiced with a private fee, which will be quoted when you make an appointment. You may be eligible for a partial rebate from your overseas student health insurance provider. Please contact your insurance provider for further details about your rebate entitlements and how to lodge a claim.

We are partners of all major overseas student health insurance providers, including:

  • Allianz Global Assistance/OSHC Worldcare
  • nibOSHC

DIRECT BILLING WITH ALLIANZ GLOBAL ASSISTANCE (previously OSHC Worldcare)

We have made an arrangement with Allianz Global Assistance (previously OSHC Worldcare) to allow direct billing of all eligible overseas student health care services. This means you pay zero fees upfront and won’t have to worry about claiming expenses.
