The Neuroradiology Fellowship program offered by Macquarie Medical Imaging is a unique transitional fellowship ideally suited to the recent radiology graduate with only one fellowship position offered each year.
Our program provides the opportunity to transition to private practice work in a supported environment as well as obtain subspecialised training as a neuroradiologist including brain, head and neck, and spine imaging with a full complement of advanced neuroimaging.
Remuneration is highly competitive in excess of $250K pa#.
Macquarie Medical Imaging has a strong commitment to career advancement and forms part of MQ Health which is Macquarie University’s health enterprise and includes one of the largest Neurosurgical/Neurovascular and Neurology Units in the Southern Hemisphere. Macquarie Medical Imaging participates in numerous clinical trials and MRI research including 4D Flow and neurodegenerative disease.
The site has 2 wide-bore 3T MRI scanners, dual energy CT as well as integrated reporting with PET and nuclear medicine, allowing for advanced multimodality assessment of cases, including the use of MRS, fMRI, FET PET and perfusion imaging to name a few.
Engagement with neurologists and neurosurgeons is encouraged as well as participation in the regular multidisciplinary team meetings with the opportunity to explore challenging and distinctive clinical cases.
