Macquarie Medical Imaging continues to provide all your medical imagining needs in every modality during these difficult times. We are there for you.

The COVID-19 virus has a powerful enemy to deal with and that is the unwavering Australian spirit of mate-ship. Our health professionals are considered to be some of the best in the world and for good reason. High standards of education, international medical experience, ongoing research, commitment to our patients and a passion to defeat this virus best describes our position at MMI.

MMI is working in conjunction with Macquarie University Hospital and the NSW Health Authorities to continually refine our clinical interactions with the community at large to deliver the best service while implementing all the safeguards necessary to keep our patients and staff safe from the COVID19 virus.

MMI is well placed as part of Macquarie University Hospital with access to all the resources of the hospital as required. This includes the hospital grade sterilization procedures offered by the house keeping staff. Entire rooms from ceiling to floor can be sterilized by our experienced staff at regular intervals to reduce the risk of cross contamination. Further Macquarie University Hospital has implemented strict social distancing rules and made the decision to removal all furniture in common areas. This reduces the time our visitors stay on the hospital campus. Hand sanitizer pump packs are conveniently located throughout the hospital and common areas. All visitors are requested to use these pumps on arrival and when leaving.

All areas within MMI are cleaned regularly. Our staff have been trained to reduce the necessity for close interactions with patients and staff, and have all the necessary personal protection equipment at hand. Our imaging equipment is cleaned with sterilization agents regularly.

Every type of imaging modality is on offer at MMI. Each modality Leader is constantly assessing all imaging protocols and making adjustments to reduce the risk of contamination.

The following medical imaging modalities remain opened to the general public:
