Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is a new type of 3D imaging that provides high-resolution scans with a low dose of radiation. It is used primarily for dental, orthopaedic, and ear, nose & throat (ENT) applications and, as a patient, requires no special preparation.
A CBCT is used to generate high-resolution images for orthodontic planning and implant assessments. MMI has years of experience and expertise in providing leading dentists and orthodontists with the required images and data sets.
CBCT also offers a comfortable experience for patients who require high resolution and low dose scanning of small parts, including the hand and foot. In some situations, this can be scanned in a sitting position enhancing comfort.
